After you pay, we send one email with everything you need. Different apps use different parts of it. Here is what each part is for.

M3U link
One long link. IBO Player Pro uses this — you paste it on the IBO website.
Username, Password and Server URL
The “Xtream” login. Most other apps, and our 8K player, use these three.
Portal URL
Only for MAG boxes. You type it in the box’s Portals screen.

Firestick and Fire TV

Most of our clients watch on a Firestick. You install a small app called Downloader first, then the player.

  1. Install Downloader

    On the Fire TV home screen go to Find and search for Downloader. Open it and press Get. It is free, from the Amazon Appstore.

  2. Let Downloader install apps

    Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps. Find Downloader and turn it ON.

    Tip: No “Developer options”? Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, then click your device name 7 times. Go back and it is there.

  3. Install IBO Player Pro with a code

    Open Downloader. In the white box type the code below and press Go. When the download ends press Install, then Open.

    Tip: “App not installed”, or it stops half-way? Your Firestick is most likely full. Remove apps you do not use and try again. Watch how to free up space.

  4. Open IBO Player Pro and write down two codes

    Open the app. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo of the screen.

  5. Add your playlist on the IBO website

    Take your phone or computer and open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists. If that page does not open, use iboproapp.com — it is the same account.

    1. Sign in with the MAC address and Device Key.
    2. Click Add playlist.
    3. Name: 4xtream.com
    4. URL: paste the M3U link from your email.
    5. Click Save.

    Tip: Paste the long M3U link, not your username and password. This is the most common mistake.

  6. Reload the app and watch

    Go back to IBO Player Pro. Press Reload, or close the app and open it again. Your channels, movies and series load in about a minute.

Other choice: our free 8K player

4XTREAM clients can also use our own 8K player. It costs nothing. It is for clients only, so its Downloader code is not on this page — you find it in My Account.

Install it the same way as above: open Downloader and type the code from My Account.

Open the player and sign in with the Username, Password and Server URL from your login email. No website step is needed.

Samsung and LG Smart TV

No extra box is needed. The player comes from your TV’s own app store.

  1. Install IBO Player Pro on the TV

    On a Samsung TV open Apps. On an LG TV open the LG Content Store. Search for IBO Player Pro and install it.

  2. Open IBO Player Pro and write down two codes

    Open the app. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo of the screen.

Android phone, TV box and Google TV

Every Android device has Google Play, so this is the quickest setup of all.

  1. Install IBO Player Pro from Google Play

    Open Google Play, search for IBO Player Pro and press Install. On a TV box or Google TV, use Google Play on the TV itself.

  2. Open IBO Player Pro and write down two codes

    Open the app. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo of the screen.

Windows PC

Watch on a laptop or desktop with the Windows version of the player.

  1. Download IBO Player Pro for Windows

    Go to the official site iboplayer.pro and download the Windows version, then install it. You can also get it from the Microsoft Store.

MAG box

A MAG box needs no app. It has a built-in portal; you only type one address.

  1. Make sure you have the MAG box plan

    A MAG box needs our MAG box plan. We set it up with your box’s MAC address, which is on the sticker under the box. Not sure which plan you have? Message us before you start.

  2. Open the Portals screen

    On the box go to Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.

  3. Type your Portal URL

    In Portal 1 name type 4XTREAM. In Portal 1 URL type the Portal URL from your email or My Account. Type it exactly, starting with http://. Press Save.

  4. Restart the box

    Unplug the box for 10 seconds and plug it back in. The portal opens and the channels load by themselves.

    Tip: Blank screen or “authorization failed”? Check the URL letter by letter. It must start with http:// (not https://). Then restart the box again.

Something not working?

Most problems have a quick fix. Open the one that matches yours.

The app says “invalid login” or “wrong password”
  • The Server URL starts with http://, not https://.
  • Type everything exactly — capital letters matter. Copy and paste is safest.
  • For IBO Player Pro, you do not type a username in the app. You paste the M3U link on the IBO website (step “Add your playlist”).
  • Use the newest details. If we sent you new ones, the old ones stop working. My Account always has the current ones.
It buffers or freezes
  • Restart your internet router first: unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This fixes most cases.
  • Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or better, a network cable.
  • You need about 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • Update the app, then close it and open it again.
It works without a VPN, but not with a VPN
  • With a VPN, use the VPN address from My Account or your email as the server.
  • Change only the server address. Your username and password stay the same.
The app asks me to pay
  • That is the app’s own licence, not your 4XTREAM plan. Your plan is already paid.
  • IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about $10 one time.
  • Do not want to pay for an app? Clients can use our free 8K player — its code is in My Account.
The app will not install on my Firestick
  • The Firestick is most likely full. Remove apps you do not use and try again.
  • Watch how to free up space.
  • Check that Downloader is still allowed: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → Downloader ON.
The TV guide is empty
  • Copy the EPG link from My Account.
  • Paste it in the app settings, where it asks for EPG or TV guide.
  • Give it a few minutes to fill in.
It stops when two people watch
  • One connection means one screen at a time. If a second screen starts, the first one stops.
  • Want to watch on two or three screens at once? Choose a 2 or 3 device plan.

Quick questions

Do you sell the app?

No. We sell the 4XTREAM service. The apps come from other makers, and some of them charge for a licence. The only app we give you is our free 8K player, for clients.

Which app is best?

IBO Player Pro. It works on almost every device and it is the one our support team knows best. On Apple devices it is called IBO Pro Player.

Is the app free?

IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about $10 one time, for life. You pay the app maker, not us. Our 8K player is free for clients.

Where are my login details?

In the email we sent after you paid — check Spam too. They are also always in My Account at account.4xtream.com.

Can I watch on two devices?

You can install it on as many devices as you like. A 1 device plan plays on one screen at a time. For two screens at once, take a 2 device plan.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes on most devices. A Firestick takes a little longer the first time, because you install Downloader first.
